Pechersk District Court of Kyiv refused to allow the Prosecutor General's Office to start a special investigation in absentia against the former Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, the former head of Presidential Administration Andriy Klyuyev. This is stated in the definition of the Court of January 25.
In particular, the document states that the Prosecutor General’s Office suspects the former secretary of the National Security and Defense Council in illegal obstruction of the rallies with the use of physical violence, as well as in the organization of power abuse by law enforcement officials.
The court decided that information on Klyuyev’s presence in the Russian Federation is an assumption and has not been confirmed with documents.
In this regard, the court returned the request of the prosecutor's office as non-corresponding to the Criminal Procedure Code.
It is emphasized that the definition cannot be appealed.
