‘Suspected Savchenko thinks that judges Palenyk, Hlyniany and Masenko are prejudiced toward her and cannot objectively consider the appeal against the decision of the investigation judge of Shevchenkivsky Court of Kyiv dated March 23, 2018. The panel of judges does not consider the possible recognition of the circumstances on which the suspected refer to in her appeal as those that hinder judges Palenyk, Hlyniany and Masenko to participate in the criminal proceeding at this stage of the process as it is not based on the law and is not proved by the materials of the case. In such circumstances, the appeal of suspected Savchenko on the challenge of judges cannot be satisfied’, the judge claimed.
Savchenko claimed that she does not believe the court after its decision.
‘The challenge of the court! On the grounds that the prosecutor said in the court hall that I made a terrorist act ‘made’ is an embodied action – killed somebody, I did not kill anyone and the court does not think that it is the prejudiced attitude of the prosecutor toward me. How it is possible to trust the court that does not see the facts and look at the 77th article and says that there is no such article due to which the prosecutor opened his prosecutor’s ethic and can continue to carry out the accusations in the court. I do not believe such court that makes a decision that is subordinated to the prosecutor’s office in advance’, Savchenko claimed.
The prosecutors did not support the appeal of Savchenko.
‘I think that the actions made by the defense are the abuse of the rights on the challenge and aim for the delaying of the trial’, Oleksandr Klymovych, the prosecutor claimed.
As we reported earlier Savchenko appealed on the challenge of prosecutor Oleksandr Klymovych. However, the court refused to. According to her, he let himself incorrect statements in the comparison of her and former GRU officers that humiliated her and officers of Ukraine.
As we reported Shevchenkivsky Court of Kyiv decided on the preventive measures for Savchenko, which is custody for two months until May 20, 2018, without a right for a bail. Besides, the Court decided that the detention on March 22 was illegal.
On March 15, Lutsenko claimed during his speech at the parliament that Savchenko personally planned, recruited and ordered how to hold the terrorist attack in the Verkhovna Rada, destroying two lodges, governmental and post, by the combat grenades, bringing down the dome of the Verkhovna Rada by the mortar launchers and killing the survived with the assault rifles.
Also, it was reported that non-affiliated MP Nadia Savchenko and Volodymyr Ruban, the Head of 'Officer Corps' planned to attack the cortege of the President of Ukraine with the large caliber sniper rifle.
