Over the period of his work, Ukraine was completely deprived of air defense. This is related to the disbandment of 19 military aviation units and establishments. Besides, the 114th tactical aviation brigade was reformatted from a brigade into a squadron.

The Chief Military Prosecutor stressed that all this “created significant advantages for the Russian Black Sea Fleet concerning the control and blockade of Armed Forces of Ukraine units in Crimea in case of open or hybrid aggression against Ukraine aimed at annexation of Crimea.”
