The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court chose a preventive measure in the form of a pledge in the amount of 40 thousand USD for Lviv mayor Andriy Sadovy. Hromadske reported it.

Sadovy is obliged to report a change in place of residence or place of work, as well as "refrain from communicating with other persons involved in the case regarding the circumstances of the production."

The pledge should be paid within five days. Thus, the court partially granted the petition of the prosecutors, who demanded a deposit of 2 million USD.

Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine has handed Mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovy a notification on suspicion of the abuse of authority. Sadovy informed about it on his Facebook page.

According to the mayor, the case was opened because the Dutch company, which paid 2,2 million dollars for the land and had to build an industrial park, was engaged in the open investing competition in 2015.
