So, we have gathered here at the stadium. I feel like Vakarchuk a bit (Ukraine’s popular singer, - ed.). Thank you all for your applause. Thank you for your support, Ukraine. Thank you!
You know this is a very interesting situation. People are shouting loudly. The whole world is watching us. Please, do not shout. We are very fashionable, fair, clean, and democratic Ukraine.
I am standing on this stage now. Could I ever imagine that I, a simple guy from Kryvyi Rih, would fight for Ukraine’s presidency against a person whom in 2014 we confidently and unquestionably elected president of Ukraine? And what is interesting about it, I supported Mr. Poroshenko, it is true.
But I was wrong. We all were wrong. Let us be frank: could we then imagine that Poroshenko’s “living in a new way” would become our “survive?” Could we then imagine that your “I will end the war in two weeks” would result into Battle of Ilovaisk and Debaltseve? Could we then imagine that his “enrichment of the people” would result in enriching his team? Could we then imagine that the Revolution of Dignity would be used by indignants?
I will explain to you why we were wrong. Big mistake. Why? I'll tell you: we voted for one Poroshenko, and chose another one. This is true because there are two Poroshenkos. The first is an excellent speaker, specialist, financier, economist, he knows everything, he usually appears if there are cameras. And then, when the cameras are turned off, another Peter II appears.
First Petro Poroshenko on Mykhailivksa Square (Kyiv downtown, - ed.) shouts “Putin, just hold on!” And the second Petro Poroshenko quietly sends compliments to Moscow through Mr. Medvedchuk. The first one says that the bills for communal services would be lower, and the second Poroshenko quietly implements Rotterdam +. The first one says “I am opening a new school,” and the second one is constantly opening Roshen stores. The first opens 12 (!) km of a new road, and the second closes the Nasirov’s case (Ukrainian corrupted official, State of Fiscal Service, - ed.). First Petro Poroshenko says, “I shield my business to a blind trust,” and second Poroshenko increases its income by 82 times a year!
Tell me, please, maybe, let us give the budget of Ukraine to a blind trust? Maybe it would work that way, right? First Poroshenko tells us: “Dollar rate would be 10 UAH by 1 USD,” and the second one sets 1 to 30. Therefore, Mr. Poroshenko, I'm here. Therefore, I am here with my team.
I am not a politician, not a politician at all, I am just a man, a simple man who came to break this system. I am the result of your mistakes and promises, Mr. Poroshenko. And you realize it.
