President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky sent a letter of condolences to the Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping regarding the deaths from the new pneumonia coronavirus. The press office of the President’s office reports this information.

"Ukraine is deeply concerned about information about the significant number of victims of the pneumonia epidemic caused by the 2019-nCoV coronavirus. On behalf of the people of Ukraine and on my own behalf, I express my sincere condolences to the citizens of friendly China, whose relatives and friends died from this terrible disease," - the letter says

Zelensky also noted that China can count on the support of Ukraine, wished a speedy recovery to all those infected and expressed confidence that China would quickly overcome the dangerous virus.

As we reported before, At least 20 Ukrainians are aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship, which was quarantined off the coast of Japan due to the coronavirus outbreak.
