Talks between Ukrainian and French Presidents Volodymyr Zelensky and Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel may take place this week. The main topic of conversation in the trilateral format will be the aggravation of the situation in Donbas and coordination of the positions of the parties, ZN.UA reports citing its sources.
According to some reports, the conversation was supposed to take place immediately after a video conference between Merkel, Macron and Putin, but this did not happen due to problems with the coordination of the time of the conversation.
As previously reported, Putin, Macron and Merkel discussed Ukraine and Donbas without Zelensky.
On April 2, Biden talked with Zelensky on phone. They discussed the situation in Donbas, the fight against corruption in Ukraine and the coronavirus pandemic.
