The Verkhovna Rada

Political consultations should be held and agreement on the bill should be reached with all factions before parliamentary voting for the introduction of visa regime with the Russian Federation. This was reported by Andriy Parubiy, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, according to 112 Ukraine TV channel.

Earlier the bill did not get enough votes.

"What is important regarding this initiative? We should be sure that there will be majority before voting for it. As failure in this vote regarding this issue will have a very negative external resonance. You remember when I included this proposal to the agenda last time, and the biggest faction announced during the morning meeting that it will not provide votes for it. Obviously, we should complete political consultations before putting the question to vote. It is crucial that the law is positive and gets majority of votes in the session hall," Parubiy noted.
