The Verkhovna Rada

The Anti-Corruption Committee recommended the Verkhovna Rada to support the cancellation of the compulsory e-declaration for NGOs, which deal with anti-corruption, as Ukrainski Novyny reported.

This is about two bills considering one question. Both of them provide the cancellation of the compulsory e-declaration for NGOs, which deal with anti-corruption, and the responsibility for not submitting the declarations. The second bill relives the foreigners, who are a part of supervisory boards of state-owned companies from responsibility to declare their property.

Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada could not cancel the e-declaration for the members of the NGOs on March 3.

The representatives of the NGOs, which fight against corruption, had to fill in the declarations till April 1. The criminal liability is provided in the case when the declaration was not submitted.

The international partners have noted the unacceptability of this norm multiple times.
