Clinical and expert commission of the Ukrainian Ministry of Healthcare did not confirm diagnosis of Roman Nasirov, suspended head of State Fiscal Service, which was made by Feofaniya doctors. This was reported by National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) press service.
Commission has provided the according conclusions to NABU today.
"The conclusions say in particular that doctors in Feofaniya were systematically and unreasonably exaggerating the severity of Nasirov’s medical condition. Feofaniya doctors had no objective bases for making the earlier specified diagnosis, according to Ministry of Healthcare. Commission members also identified violations when patient was released from Feofaniya ," the message reads.
As it was reported earlier, Nasirov's wife and father-in-law posted the bail for him, thus suspended head of State Fiscal Service was released from prison.
The former head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine is suspected in abuse of authority and embezzlement of public funds totaling some $74 million. Investigation considers that Nasirov, acting in the interests of MP Onyshchenko, groundlessly provided tax obligations by installments for a number of enterprises in terms of "gas case".
