Near the Office of the President in Kyiv, the clashes between police and protesters took place after the activists set fire to tires, as RBK-Ukraine reported citing Spokesperson of Pecherck district department of the National Police Oksana Tyshchenko.
According to her, the activists set fire to tires and it caused the clashed with law enforcers.
“The activists burned the tires and due to it, the clashes with law enforcers occurred. A short scuffle took place. As a result of the incident, nobody was hurt. No one was detained. The employees work at the site. Concerning the actions of the offenders, the firefighters will deal with them; they are dealing with them now. They will register it,” Tyshchenko said.
She added that the law enforcers continue to observe the maintenance of public order.
“No one suffered. We did not receive any appeal,” she concluded.
According to one of the witnesses, the protest was held to ‘remind the president what can happen in case of surrender of the national interests’.
According to PavlovskyNEWS Telegram-channel, one of the partakers of the protests was detained by police. It turned out that he is the Donbas Conflict veteran.
As we reported, on April 29, near the Cabinet of Minister in Kyiv, the protest of entrepreneurs took place. They demanded to end the lockdown on May 1.
