The protesters started breaching the Parliament

The protesters in balaclavas started climbing over the fence and attacking the police near Verkhovna Rada building. Clashes occurred as a result, as 112 Ukraine correspondent reports.

The protesters threw an explosive, supposedly a firecracker. One man got a leg injury. He received a medical aid.

Interfax-Ukraine referring to the National Police Central Department in Kyiv reported that first, a smoke grenade was thrown, then – a firecracker. No reports on detainees and injured made.

According to Yana Nerush, Deputy Head of Kyiv National Police Communication Division, the police officer was injured with a fence, as 112 Ukraine reports.

“The police officer was injured, but not by a firecracker. He injured his leg by a fence, when he was near the building,” Nerush stated.

The protesters were throwing firecrackers at the law enforcers.

“The protester tried to tear the police line and get into the Parliament, but the law enforcers did not let them. At that moment, the protesters threw a firecracker. No injuries as a result of the incident reported. The situation is under control,” Nerush said.

It should be noted that there are several rallies near the Verkhovna Rada. In particular, the representatives of the National Corps are protesting against the extradition of Ukrainian volunteer in Russia. Around 400 protesters from National Corps political party and National Forces organization gathered.
