“We plan to start the vaccination at the checkpoints for our citizens who live in temporarily occupied territories. We had many meetings and the construction communication with the Health Ministry that people who live in occupied Donbas have a possibility to start the vaccination at the same time as other Ukrainians, it directly concerns people at the age over 60. We develop the algorithm to ensure the vaccination along the demarcation line. It can be mobile brigades or vaccination at the medical offices at the service zones at the checkpoints,” Drahanchuk noted.

According to her, the approaching of the medical services to the demarcation line is one of the priorities of the ministry’s work. Meanwhile, the official underlined that it does not depend on the Ukrainian authorities who will be able to get such services.

Meanwhile, the vaccination from Covid-19 has started in Ukraine on February 24. The first person to receive the vaccine was Yevhen Horenko, a resuscitator at the Cherkasy Regional Hospital. The vaccination is held all over Ukraine.
