China ready to invest $10 bn for Ukrainian projects

The President emphasized that one of the main tasks for Ukraine for now is to provide safety for the investments

Volodymyr Zelensky discussed possibilities of investments equaled to about $10 bn into projects in the territory of Ukraine with the representatives of the People’s Republic of China. This was reported by the press agency of the Office of the President. 

During the meeting the President of Ukraine talked about possible projects in the sphere of infrastructure, agriculture, energy efficiency and financial services. Particularly, Zelensky underlined the building of the concession roads around Kyiv.

The President emphasized that one of the main tasks for Ukraine for now is to provide safety for the investments.

"We spend a lot of effort to make investors come to Ukraine. We are ready to protect the investments. For this, besides our wish, the new Parliament and government are also needed," the President said. 

He underlined that the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine and new General Prosecutor will help to protect the investments against the pressure of the law enforcers. 

As we reported earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky encouraged foreign businessmen to invest into Ukraine and promised to prove Ukraine had powerful investment capacity.
