The Commission on Technogenic and Ecological Safety and Emergencies in Bila Tserkva has decided to start the pumping and filtering station of the city from 20:00. This was announced by the press center of the State Emergency Service.
“Bila Tserkva‘s Commission on Technogenic and Ecological Safety and Emergencies decided to resume the work of the pumping and filtering station of the city of Bila Tserkva from 20:00 on June 10,” the Emergency Service informed.
It is noted that the State Enterprise ‘Scientific Center for Preventive Toxicology, Food and Chemical Safety named after academician Medved’ of the Health Ministry conducted an analysis of water samples from the Ros River in the places of drinking water intake in Bila Tserkva.
Laboratory studies were made by gas chromatography method in 131 indicators, of which 13 are classified as priority according to the EU Water Framework Directive (2000/60/EC).
“The excess of the regulatory concentration limit of the toxic substances was not detected,” the Emergency Service reported.
As it was reported earlier, an accident occurred in the Zbarzhevka village of Vinnytsia region. During the transportation of an unknown agricultural chemical, the car fell into a tributary of the Ros River.
The police opened three criminal cases due to this incident. According to Chairman of Kyiv Regional State Administration Oleksandr Tereshchuk, the chemical did not influence on the state of water in river. However, the commission on human-generated environmental disasters and emergency restricted the swimming and fishing in the water for 10 days. The expertise of water continues.
