The building of Sberbank office was unblocked in Kyiv on Volodymyrska street. Kyivans put dismantled concrete blocks blocking the central office of Russian Sberbank in Ukraine. This was reported by the Interfax-Ukraine.
“The entrance to the office is already unblocked, concrete blocks are lying on the sidewalk. Part of the blocks were already loaded to the truck. Part of the posters glued to the vitrine and walls of the building of Sberbank were also cleaned up,” the journalist of 112 Ukraine TV channel reported.
Almost all the wall of the building was cleaned from posters and blocks, people use hand tools. Some pedestrians film this process on their phones.
Earlier National Corps decided to temporarily unblock Sberbank offices on March 27. People are encouraged to withdraw their deposits from the bank.
The message says that first strategic stage to block Russian capital is successfully completed: it is officially prohibited to carry out any external financial operations by Russian banks in Ukraine towards its affiliates, withdraw assets to Russian Federation particularly.
At the same time, National Corps announces the preparation for second stage of banking blockade. Its aim is to cease the activity of all Sberbank Russia offices in Ukraine.
