As of 2:16 p.m. on April 1 the Central Election Commission has processed 78,56% of protocols. According to the count, Zelensky gets 30,41% (4,43 million votes), Poroshenko – 16,06 (2,34 million).
“The session of the Central Election Commission has started, this is a ceaseless meeting concerning receiving paper-based protocols from the district electoral commissions. In total 188 protocols will be received,” the reported stated on air of 112 Ukraine.
The Central Election Commission (CEC) must establish the election results by April 10. Then, the commission has to publish the results of the first round in the newspapers Holos Ukrayiny and Uryadovy Kuryer not later than April 13. And it is to announce holding the second round in case no candidate received over 50% of votes.
The date of the second round of elections is supposedly April 21, 2019.
The Central Election Commission establishes and announces the results of the second round before May 1. The official announcement of the second round results is to be published in the Holos Ukrayiny and Uryadovy Kuryer before May 4.
By June 3, the inauguration of the newly elected President of Ukraine is to be held at the solemn session of the Verkhovna Rada.
