Ukraine's CEC registers 82 MPs

Central Election Commission (CEC) registered 82 MPs of Ukraine as of August 14. 37 of them were chosen at multi-member constituencies and 45 of them were chosen at single-member constituencies, as the CEC reported.

Thus, today the Central Election Commission registered 32 lawmakers in the state-level multi-member constituency.

Besides, according to the Constitution of Ukraine, Ukraine’s law On elections of lawmakers of Ukraine and on the basis of the particular CEC protocols on the results of the snap elections of the MPs of Ukraine at the single-member constituencies, the commission registered 25 lawmakers elected during the snap parliamentary elections on July 21, 2019 at the single-member constituencies.

The commission approved the decision of the local electoral commission of the abroad polling station dated August 6, 2019, on payment of the one-time remuneration for the members of the commission.

Earlier Central Election Commission announced the results of early parliamentary elections on July 21 in a multi-member constituency (according to party lists). According to the results, the Servant of the People party receives 124 mandates from party lists, Opposition Platform - For Life - 37, Batkivshchyna - 24, European Solidarity - 23, Holos - 17 seats.

The snap parliamentary election in Ukraine took place July 21. The overall voters' turnout rate made 49.84 percent.
