The Central Election Commission of Ukraine plans to announce the official results of the second round of elections of the president of Ukraine on April 30. The press service of the CEC Natalia Bernatska, as Ukrainian news.

The CEC will announce the results of the second round of the elections on April 30, when the deadline for appeal protocols from constituencies expires, according to the law.

According to the report, the Commission finished receiving original protocols of the district election commissions on results of the voting of citizens at the polling stations. The CEC announced the results of the voting at the foreign constituency and finished the session on Friday, April 22.

The next step will be the protocol of the final results of the presidential elections.

Bernatska added that a four-day delay is connected with the necessity to study the protocols from the district commissions, which we received in recent days, as well as to wait for the expiration of the legal period for appeal.

The second round of the elections of the President of Ukraine took place on April 21. Volodymyr Zelensky has won with 73,22% of votes, and current President Poroshenko gets 24,45%.

Besides, Central Election Commission processed 100% of the protocols at abroad election district: Petro Poroshenko gained 54,74% of the votes, while Zelensky got 43,78%.
