CEC approves allocation of USD 72 mln for Ukraine's early parliamentary elections

Expenditures of the Central Election Commission are 151 million 848,000 of dollars

The Central Election Commission of Ukraine approved allocation of 72 million dollars of the state budget for preparation and conducting of the early parliamentary elections. The decision was made during the CEC session on Monday, June 3, as the press service of CEC reports.

According to the distribution of money:

  • 15 million 184,931dollars to the Central Election Committee,
  • 19 million 101,266 dollars to district election commissions,
  • 45 million 555,472 dollars to the local electoral commissions.

In addition, the Commission approved the average norms of expenditures of the district election commission and the average norms of expenditures for the needs of the local electoral commissions for the preparation and holding of early elections of MPs of Ukraine on July 21, 2019.

Earlier, the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Ukraine has created 199 district election commissions for the early parliamentary elections of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. 

“…CEC has created 199 district election commission on elections of the MPs of Ukraine for the early parliamentary elections of Ukraine on July 21, 2019,” the report said.
