Head of the Special Monitoring OSCE Mission in Ukraine Yashar Chevyk stated that the ceasefire resumption started in Donbas on July 21 had created safer conditions for doing renovation works and service of the critical infrastructure by winter. OSCE reported that on its official website.

"The recommitment to the unlimited ceasefire has led to a significant reduction of a number of victims among local residents and created safer conditions for doing repair works and technical service of the physical infrastructure by winter," says the message.

The Head of the Mission also noted the positive changes in the works of fortification dismantlement in Stanytsia Luhanska area. He welcomed the work of deminers and engineers aimed at making the region safer for the citizens and preparing for the bridge reconstruction on the destroyed section. It stands to mention that the bridge is crossed nearly by 10,000 people every day.

Chevyk drew the attention at the necessity of pushing the issue of forces and resources in Zolote and Petrovske as well as the maintaining of the momentum of the works.
