A car of Mykola Cheremukhyn, former deputy head of Kharkiv regional police and current head of the department on operative developments in the Eastern region exploded in Kharkiv. No casualties occurred, as Interfax-Ukraine reports quoting their sources in the law enforcement.
The incident happened today near the house on the Kultury st.
“It’s said that a clap was heard at around 7:30. And three grenades that didn’t explode were found under the car. It must have been that four grenades were planted, which were to explode when the car started moving, but one exploded prematurely,” the source said.
The National Police said they would comment on the incident shortly.
