The car explosion in Dnipro killed the Chief of the Mass Media and Public Relations Department of the State Emergency Service in Dnipropetrovsk region, Captain Daria Hrechyshcheva. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
"Today at about 9 a.m. the Chief of the Mass Media and Public Relations Department of the State Emergency Service in Dnipropetrovsk region Daria Hrechyshcheva tragically died," the statement reads.
Rescuers note that Daria was one of the best employees of the State Emergency Service, and the department headed by her was one of the leading ones among all regional press services of the State Emergency Service.
Daria was a captain of the Civil Defence Service and a Red Cross volunteer.
As a source in law enforcement agencies told Interfax-Ukraine, Anti-Terrorist Operation veteran Oleksiy Kavlak also died during the explosion.
Earlier it was reported that the car exploded in the city of Dnipro this morning. The explosion killed two people who were in the car. It is priorly known that the event is to be classified as a terrorist attack.
