“Today, the Institute of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases named after Hromashevsky, exposed two mutated cases of coronavirus with genetic characteristics that belong to the ‘British’ strain,” Lyashko said.

The mutation was exposed in two samples collected two weeks ago in Ivano-Frankivsk.

Besides, 48 samples were collected of severely ill people in Ivano-Frankivsk to get to know whether or not there are mutations in the extended form.
