The High Court of England will announce its decision on the debt of $ 3 billion to the Russian Federation in April. This was reported on air of "Hromadske TV" by the Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danylyuk.
"There were hearings at which both sides have been heard. The judge is now required to take a decision and document it. I think we will know the decision in 3 months, maybe already in April,” he said.
According to Danylyuk, representatives of the Ukrainian side convincingly proved its position.
Ukraine received $3 billion from Russia a loan of when Viktor Yanukovych was the President in December 2013. Kyiv insisted on its recognition as a commercial debt and restructuring. But Russia refused to restructure the debt and demanded to recognize it as the state debt.
