The consular department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine with a representative of Bourbon Rhode are going to communicate with the relatives of the Ukrainian members of the Bourbon Rhode ship crew, which disappeared in the Atlantic Ocean the day before. Deputy of the consular department Head Vasyl Kyrylych twitted it.
"With the appointed in Ukraine representative of the Bourbon company are going to communicate with the relatives of the sailors. This is an important part of the rescue operation. We are expecting good news from the rescue Center," he wrote.
As it was reported earlier, the Bourbon Rhode ship with Ukrainians on board disappeared in the Atlantic Ocean on September 26. The ship was heading for Georgetown from the Canary Islands and got into a cyclone.
"On September 26, in the Atlantic Ocean, at a distance of about 1,200 nautical miles from Martinique (the overseas department of France), the Bourbon Rhode vessel disappeared as a result of the storm. Ukrainian citizens were among its crew," Kyrylych said.
