Prime Minister of Great Britain Boris Johnson together with British politicians congratulated Ukraine on the eve of the Independence Day. The video greeting was published on the official Twitter page of the Ukrainian Embassy in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
"UK Prime Minister @BorisJohnson, prominent British politicians and leading analysts send their greetings to the people of #Ukraine on the eve of the 28th Anniversary of Ukraine's Independence," the post reads.
Ambassadors, politicians and analysts read the lines of the song of Taras Petrynenko called "Ukraine" (Ukrayina). At the end of the congratulation Boris Johnson says "Glory to Ukraine!"
As it was reported earlier, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson held the phone talk with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky. British official assured Ukrainian leader that he would express his position against Russia’s return to G7 during the next summit of the Group of Seven in France on August 24-26.
The parties also noted the impossibility of the restoration of Russia’s membership in G7 as Russia systematically violates international law and undermines European and global security.
