He noted that the border guards should clearly figure out the purpose of the stay in Ukraine of every foreigner according to the acting legislation. If the purpose does not correspond to the reality then it can become a ground to refuse the foreigner to cross the border of Ukraine.
'Such situation took place. These citizens of Russia failed to clearly confirm their purpose of the stay in Ukraine. Moreover, we found that they possess ultras-emblems of one of the Russian football clubs during a check. On the basis of this information, they were refused to cross the border and they returned to Russia', Slobodian noted.
The State Border Guard Service added that all ultras were the citizens of Russia from 21 to 28-years-old. The young people were ultras of 'Torpeda' football club from Vladimir city. At the same time, the photo published by the border guards shows the emblems of Belarusian club.
