Border Guard bans entry for Russia’s Boxing Federation representatives

Among them were two LifeNews journalists, the ban will be active three years

State Border Guard Service did not let in to Ukraine a group of representatives of the Boxing Federation of Russia. This was announced by the speaker of the Ukrainian Border Guard Service Oleh Slobodyan, reports Interfax-Ukraine agency.

"This morning a delegation of the Boxing Federation of Russia consisting of 39 people arrived in Moscow-Kharkiv train. During an additional interview it was decided not to allow 9 citizens to enter Ukraine due to illegal visits to the occupied Crimea," he said.

Eight representatives of Russian Boxing Federation were banned entry to Ukraine for 3 years.

Two LifeNews TV channel journalists were in the group, according to Slobodyan.

Earlier it was reported that Security Service banned German politician Wimmer entry into Ukraine for visiting Crimea. Wimmer visited Crimea late March as part of delegation of German businessmen and politicians.
