Children of this region can download a special application to their mobile phone and call the police in case of danger by one "click"

Front-line schools are ready for the new academic year. Law enforcers checked the educational institutions of the region and reminded of the alarm button "Police102". This was reported by the press service of the Internal Ministry of Ukraine.

"On the eve of the new school year, police from juvenile prevention, explosives experts and cynologists checked every educational institution in the region to ensure the safety of children who will return very soon to schools," the report said.

Law enforcers launched an information campaign to remind small Ukrainians that they can call for help by just pressing one button on the phone. After all, the mobile application, which is already being used by more than two thousand residents, is first of all to help the children.

As it was reported earlier OSCE monitoring mission in Ukraine said the combat activity in Donbas seems to have decreased for now. According to the observers, this shows relative effectiveness of  so-called ‘school ceasefire.’
