Andriy Bohdan, the Head of the Office of President of Ukraine filed the resignation letter - on his own request. Interfax-Ukraine news agency reports that with reference to the office.

"The appeal was handed over to president on Thursday", the source at the office said. 

When the-then candidate Volodymyr Zelensky announced he would run for presidency during the 2019 election, Bohdan became the legal counselor of his campaign. Head of the Office has chaired the authority since May 21; he has not confirmed the information about this resignation yet.

Andriy Bohdan is the ex-lawyer of Ihor Kolomoisky, the famous Ukrainian oligarch; president Zelensky himself is a business partner of Kolomoisky.
