U.S. State Secretary Antony Blinken during the meeting of American President Joe Biden with his Ukrainian colleague Volodymyr Zelensky has thanked Ukraine for help with the evacuation of people from Afghanistan as Blinken stated on Twitter.
“I commend Ukraine for its assistance helping evacuate those at-risk in Afghanistan,” Blinken noted.

He underlined that the American-Ukrainian partnership is stronger than any time before and the U.S. is committed to a bright and prosperous future of Ukraine.
A meeting between U.S. President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky took place in Washington on September 1. During a visit to Washington, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky handed over to U.S. leader Joe Biden a list of 450 prisoners who are in the uncontrolled territories of Donbas, Crimea, as well as in Russia.
