The bill on conclusion of Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) and the new stage of the use of Ukrainian Armed Forces will be submitted for consideration by Verkhovna Rada next week. This was reported by Andriy Teteruk, the First Vice-Chairman of the People's Front faction, in a commentary to 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"It is expected that the bill will be submitted to Verkhovna Rada next week, giving the opportunity to conclude ATO stage and start the new phase of Ukrainian Armed Forces usage. I cannot reveal details, let’s wait for the week to come, when it will be submitted. Then we will comment on the finally approved text," Teteruk said.

Answering the question about the persons involved in the preparation of the text, deputy said that there is a group of authors who are finalizing the draft law currently.

"ATO is guided by our Anti-Terrorist center according to the acts on fight with terrorism and is headed by SSU representatives. We have different challenges and threats today, which are not solved in terms of ATO. In this context, the possibilities of Armed Forces usage will be expanded. Operative HQ will include all of our military units, our civil–military administrations will be centrally integrated here, so that all actions in the conflict zone would be precise and were carried out in consecutive form," Teteruk added.

According to him, ATO executed the main functions assigned to it — stabilized the situation in Luhansk and Donetsk regions, allowed to carry out election in Ukraine, some of the territories were brought back through ATO.
