Belarus will cease the recently renewed supplies of electricity to Ukraine on November 18. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Belarus, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"Electricity deliveries to Ukraine will be stopped on 18 November in line with the established interaction procedure within the framework of the contract relations," the press service said.

Belarus will consider future electricity deliveries to Ukraine depending on technical capabilities.

As we reported earlier, press secretary of the delegation of the so-called Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) in the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG), Maria Kovshar announced Kyiv’s desire to purchase energy resources in the uncontrolled territories.

According to Kovshar, at a meeting of the subgroup on economic issues on November 9, the Ukrainian side asked to discuss the topic of commercial supplies of electricity and coal from Donbas to Ukraine.

In his turn, the so-called Minister of Foreign Affairs of the LPR and the plenipotentiary of the republic in the TCG Vladislav Deinego said that the so-called republics are ready for discussion.
