Audio guide in Ukrainian was launched in Tower of London

In the Tower of London, tourists now have the opportunity to listen to tours in Ukrainian - the twenty-seventh in the world and the first in the UK Ukrainian-language audio guide appeared here. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.

"Over the last year, starting from June 2020, despite the difficult situation around the world and the relentless fight against COVID-19, we have managed to spread the Ukrainian language in 27 locations, launching audio guides in the most prominent cultural landmarks of the planet. I am sure that this is just the beginning of our great mission. There are many other interesting places in the world where the Ukrainian language will be heard soon," Olena Zelenska said.

The Tower is an architectural symbol of Great Britain, a museum monument. This fortress is located on the north bank of the Thames, in the historic center of the capital - London. During its existence, the complex of buildings served as an arsenal, treasury, storage of royal jewels. The Tower gained its greatest popularity as a prison.

For the British, the Tower has a special historical significance. Now it is a treasury with unique exhibits, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The First Lady initiated the launch of Ukrainian-language audio guides in France, Montenegro, Sweden, Denmark, Uzbekistan, Italy, Kenya and other countries.
