People involved in the beating of the Ukrainian teenager in Paris should stay in prison as President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported.
“It is necessary to find and punish the attackers. It is not just our demand; it is the issue of civility. In any country, such an attack deserves a firm response from the state,” Zelensky wrote.
The president added that the Embassy of Ukraine in France is involved in the situation. Zelensky underlined that Ukraine does everything to provide the necessary help to a victim and his family.
On January 21, in Paris, a group of unknown attacked and brutally beat the Ukrainian teenager. Currently, the boy is in a coma. It is noted that a 14-year-old boy was beaten near the Eiffel Tower, not far from Beaugrenelle. A dozen of the unknown with metal sticks, bats and knives attacked the group of students. Everyone succeeded to escape except Yuriy.
As a result of the attack, Yuriy fell into a coma; however, the doctors succeeded to bring him out of this state. Currently, the boy is in a severe state.
