A man who attacked the crew of the ZiK TV channel in capital’s Hydropark was put under house arrest, as the press service of Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office reported.

The motion was filed by the Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office, and Dniprovsky district court decided on a preventive measure in the form of house arrest.

A man is suspected of committing crimes under articles for obstruction of the legitimate professional activities of journalists and threat or violence against a journalist.'

Earlier, on April 2, an unknown man attacked a journalist and a cameraman of ZiK TV channel while they filming a story on one of the open sports grounds in Kyiv. The record shows that the journalist was asking another man, why he continues to do sports in a public place despite the ban. During their conversation, an unknown assailant attacked the journalists.
