Zolochiv District Court of Kharkiv region chose the restrictive measure for the suspect in the attack at the production unit of 112 Ukraine TV channel, which was filming the footage about illegal production of lumber as Interfax-Ukraine reported citing the prosecutor’s office.
“The court chose the restrictive measure as the prosecutor’s office appealed, in the form of the personal recognizance,” the prosecutor’s office reported.
Earlier it was reported that Kharkiv region court applied house arrest as a preventive measure for two suspects in the attack on the journalist of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
On August 28, 2019, the unknown thugs attacked the production unit of 112 Ukraine TV channel; the team was filming a story about illegal production of lumber. The car of the unit was blocked and the wheels got flat. Journalist Oleg Reshetnyak was beaten; the ambulance was called.
Police of Kharkiv region put the data on the on preventing of professional activity of the journalists to the United pretrial investigation register.
