The National police predict that about 220,000 people will take part in the mass events to the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation on May 8 and to the Day of Victory over Nazism in the Second World War on May 9. Deputy Head of the National police Oleksandr Fatsevych stated this, as the press service of the police reported.
“The emergency regime will be launched at the spots, starting from 7:00 am on May 9 and until the end of the activities due to a large number of participants,” Fatsevych added.
Almost 5,000 Russian servicemen to participate in parades in occupied territories of Crimea on May 9.
“About 5,000 soldiers and about 100 units of military equipment would take part in in the military Victory Day parades on the Crimean peninsula. The parades on May 9 would be held in the hero-cities: Sevastopol, Kerch, and Simferopol,” Rulev said.
