The Verkhovna Rada Committee has recognized legal and grounded the appeal for the removal of immunity from the member of the Opposition Bloc Serhiy Dunaev, as Ukrainian News agency reports.

"The appeal is legal because it is submitted by the appropriate subject. Some remarks regarding the sufficiency of grounds and adequacy of the submission are stated in the conclusions," the chairman of the committee Pavlo Pynzenyk said.

At the same time, the committee expressed reservations concerning the access of the investigator to the telephone conversations of a deputy through third parties.

As it was reported earlier, Nazar Kholodnytsky, the Head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Bureau, filed a petition to the Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko concerning the lifting of immunity of Igor Mosiychuk, the people’s deputy from the Radical Party. According to him, it concerns the case against Mosiychuk on suspicion of illicit enrichment and declaration of false information. In particular, it’s about his house.
