Ukrainians do not need to take an antibody test and measure blood pressure before being vaccinated against coronavirus, Health Minister Viktor Lyashko said during a briefing.

"The antibody test before vaccination is not informative, so it does not need to be done. In no country in the world do people take tests before vaccination. The same applies to the measurement of blood pressure. There is no need for this before the vaccination," Lyashko said.

It was reported that 30% of the adult population in Ukraine has received at least one coronavirus vaccination.

291,293 people were vaccinated in Ukraine on October 26. 212,013 people received one dose; while 79,280 were fully immunized. 9,363,493 people have been vaccinated since the beginning of the vaccination campaign. 9,363,491 people received the first dose; 7,138,082 people are fully immunized.
