Anti-Ukrainian sanctions to affect 360 companies, 50 individuals, - Russian media

The sanctions of Russia against Ukraine will affect 360 Ukrainian companies and over 50 individuals; TASS agency wrote this, citing its own sources in the Russian government.

'Soon, the document will be passed to be signed by the chairman of the government, and then it will be published. The response will affect about 360 Ukrainian companies and more than 50 individuals,' the message said.

As we reported on October 22, Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a decree on imposing sanctions against Ukraine - in response to Ukraine’s restrictive measures against the Russian citizens and legal entities.

Having signed the document, Putin commissioned the Russian government to define those Ukrainian individuals to be affected by the restrictions. In addition, he ordered 'to take other measures necessary for the realization of the actual order.'

The order takes effect the moment it is signed. The sanctions can be lifted if Ukraine adopts a similar decision.

Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev claimed that the sanctions against Ukraine would concern hundreds of people.
