The anti-terrorist drills at the power engineering facilities in Vinnytsia were stopped due to the fire at the ammunition depot in Kalynivka. The press service of the Security Service of Ukraine reported this.

The department added that the SBU informed the population about the holding of the planned training with the representatives of the SBU, National Police, National Guard, State Emergency Service, Armed Forces of Ukraine, Border Guards, bodies of authority and self-government and the detachments of the territorial defense before the beginning of it.
The anti-terrorist drills were included at the end of 2016 to the plan of the work of SBU in Vinnytsia region for 2017. The holding of such drills is provided by the acting legislation.
As it was reported earlier, fire at the ammunition storages in Kalynivka of Vinnytsia region began at 22:00 on September 26. Ukraine’s Emergency Service cannot yet assess the scale of the incident (as of 23:30), But all the forces of the Emergency Service, including the leadership, have been raised in alarm.
It is known that explosions and fire are at the 48th arsenal - the storage base for ammunition of Armed Forces in Vinnytsia region, a few kilometers from Kalynivka. According to the data available in open sources, 188,000 tons of ammunition is stored in the arsenal. The area of the arsenal is about 60 hectares. Among the ammunition stored in the arsenal there are rockets Smerch, Hurricane and Grad. According to journalist Yury Butusov, the storage standards in the arsenal are exceeded by several times.
The official reason of the fire is still not announced but the General Staff of the Armed Forces of kraine does not exclude the version of sabotage. The Military Prosecutor's Office started the investigation of the explosions in Kalynivka as the sabotage.
The air space in the radius of 50 kilometers from the zone of the fire is closed according to the decision of the 'Ukraerocenter'. Also, the movement by the railway road Sosenka-Kalinovla and the movement to Zhmerynka are closed. It was reported on the closure of the movement at the road Vinnytsta-Kyiv and Zhytomyt-Mogylev-Podolsky.
28.3 thousands people were evacuated from the zone of fire and it is reported on two wounded women but their injuries are not critical.
