The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecution (SAP) may take over criminal proceedings investigated by the National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) if the latter doesn’t stop information leaks, as head of SAP Nazar Kholodnitskiy told in an interview for "1+1".

“We are deeply concerned by this yet another leak of information. It yet again confirms that the NABU has systematic problems with the secrecy of investigation. If this continues, SAP won’t have a choice but to take over all the cases of NABU, deploy departments of over law enforcement agencies and bring the cases to the end with them,” he said.

Kholodnitskiy was commenting on an interview that came out about two months ago, in which a NABU detective gave a detailed overview of his work for the bureau.
