The detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) hold search of the house of Viktor Sysa, the Head of State Forestry Hutyansky, Zlochiv, Kharkiv region, after the attack at 112 Ukraine journalist as newly elected MP Oleksy Kucher reported on Facebook.

“The history of Ukraine’s President’s visit to Kharkiv continues. Now, the NABU detectives hold search at the house of woodsman Viktor Sysa. Despite the desperate active resistance to the law enforcement bodies and possible assistance of the state security (which, as no surprise, provides round-the-clock security), the detectives have begun the searches,” Kucher reported.

Viktor Sysa does not answer the phone calls. He stays near his house in Zlochiv; he locked in his car and refuses to get out. The activists, workers of the forestry and a lot of unknown people stat at the site as KHARKIV Today reported.

The NABU press service noted that the searches take place within the investigation of the possible abuse during the sale of lumber. The preliminary legal qualification is the abuse of authority or official position, which led to grave consequences.

The NABU is investigation these facts since February 2019.

According to the declaration of Viktor Sysa, he bought the house in 2012. The square of the property is 268 square meters.

Director of Kharkiv department of the NABU Yuriy Kravchenko did not confirm the presence of the detectives in Zlochiv.

“I do not possess such information,” Kravchenko said.

The unknown thugs attacked the production unit of 112 Ukraine TV channel; the team was filming a story about illegal production of lumber. The car of the unit was blocked and the wheels got flat. Journalist Oleg Reshetnyak was beaten; the ambulance was called.

112 Ukraine TV channel asked the law enforcement bodies to urgently intervene in the situation, which occurred in Zolochev village, Kharkiv region.

Police of Kharkiv region put the data on the on preventing of the professional activity of the journalists to the United pretrial investigation register.

Interior Ministry’s employees detained over 30 people who attacked 112 Ukraine crew.

Previously, President Volodymyr Zelensky demanded to solve the issue of deforestation in the Kharkiv region immediately.

During his working visit to Kharkiv on July 17, Volodymyr Zelensky insisted on the immediate solution of the problem.
