The detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau searches the Fifth Element sports club in Kyiv as Ukrainian News reported citing its source in the law enforcement bodies.

“The NABU holds searches at the Fifth Element,” the source said.

Hired thugs called "titushky" try to hinder the NABU searches, saying that the office of Oleksiy Poroshenko, the son of ex-president Petro Poroshenko is located in the building.

The NABU detectives try to search at one more room in the building; however, the representatives of the sports club do not admit the detectives stating the Honorary Consulate of Seychelles is situated there.

Slovo I Dilo reported that the investigative actions are held due to the possible embezzlement in Ukroboronprom.

Later, the NABU confirmed that it holds searches in Bohdan Motors Automobile Company and sports club 5th Element due to the investigation of embezzlements in Ukroboronprom.

The searches continue within the investigation of the embezzlements in especially big amount. The officials of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are suspected in the embezzlement.

According to the investigation, in 2015-2018, the special car purchased at a higher price was illegally put on the state defense order. It is known that the case is investigated on the article “appropriation, embezzlement and acquisition of property by abuse of official position”.

“The investigation of mentioned fact held by the NANU since April 2018. It is all information that we can report now, considering the necessity of the keeping of the secrecy of the investigation,” the message said.

Igor Gladkovsky, along with Vitaliy Zhukov and Andriy Rogoza were supplying smuggled Russian components and components from the Ukrainian military units through straw companies at prices 2-4 times higher than market ones.

On March 4, Poroshenko dismissed Oleh Gladkovsky, deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council from his post. he replaced his close associate with Maksym Kryvonos, one of the presidential nominees, who withdrew his candidacy in favor of Poroshenko and was soon appointed NSDC high-ranker.
