Pavlo Klimkin, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister, called journalist Tom Rogan’s statement another “Russia-led provocation”. His article, which called for exploding the Kerch Bridge, was published in Washington Examiner on May 15.
Yesterday, Rogan wrote on Twitter that he talked to Klimkin and he supported the proposed scenario.
Today, on May 18, Klimkin replied on this statement on Twitter. He stated that he has never spoken to that person and his statement is a Russian provocation.
Earlier, in his article Rogan stated that “this bridge is an outrageous affront to Ukraine's very credibility as a nation” and called for blowing it up. Russia’s Investigative Committee has already opened the criminal proceeding on the journalist.
The Kerch Bridge was opened for traffic in the morning of May 16.
