Another lawsuit filed against Acting Healthcare Minister of Ukraine

MP Oleksy Lensky from Radical Party filed another lawsuit against Uliana Suprun, demanding to ban her from serving as Acting Healthcare Minister of Ukraine as she reported on Facebook.

“A new lawsuit filed against me once more. Again from the MP of the Radical Party of Oleh Lyashko. Again with the demand to ban me from serving as acting healthcare minister of Ukraine,” she wrote.

It is reported that the official explanation of the grounds for it comes from the previous lawsuits.

It is noted that the lawyers’ request on this lawsuit to the Healthcare Ministry of Ukraine was received from the same GoLaw law firm, which serves to Kateryna Amosova and Valery Zaporozhan, the former rectors of the medical universities fired for corruption.

“This lawsuit is just another attack against the transformation of the healthcare system. As during 2,5 years, they tried almost all possible means and now they use the templates of each other,” Suprun added.

It is not the first lawsuit of Olexy Lensky against Suprun. In February 2019, he was against the illegal appointment of Suprun as First Deputy Healthcare Minister.

As we reported, Suprun's role as acting health minister was questioned by MP from the Radical Party of Lyashko Ihor Mosiychuk. The court explained that such a decision was made as Suprun has dual citizenship. Apart from the Ukrainian one, she also has a U.S. passport.
