50 Canadian military officers came to Ukraine as part of the UNIFIER training mission. This was reported by Canadian Ambassador to Ukraine Roman Waschuk in Twitter on Friday.

"We are strengthening the Canadian presence - another 50 military officers came in the framework of the UNIFIER operation. We support the Ukrainian Defense Ministry in protecting Ukraine's sovereignty, security and stability," he wrote.

As the head of the Canadian UNIFIER military training mission Kristopher Reeves noted, after the arrival of military instructors, the mission became the most numerous since the beginning of work in Ukraine.

As it was rereported earlier more than 5,000 military officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were trained by the servicemen from Canada.

Earlier we reported that Canadian Defense Minister Harjit Sajjan said that the country’s government is looking for ways to expand its military assistance to Ukraine, one of the stages of which was opening access to the Canadian arms market.
