The flight evacuated 14 citizens: three women and 11 children. They were in a closed-type camp Al-Hall in northeastern Syria.
"This is the largest group of Ukrainians whom we managed to return home during the entire period of organizing the evacuation operations from this country," the statement said.
It is also reported that the negotiation process with the participation of Ukrainian diplomats lasted several months. For today, 19 more Ukrainian citizens remain in Syria, awaiting evacuation from the Rodge camp. Another humanitarian mission is being prepared for their return.
Earlier, in October the 4th special operation of the evacuation of the Ukrainian citizens from Syria came to the end.
As of October 19, 11 families of Ukrainian citizens remained in Syria.
